SHOPPERS at Spindles were left baffled after spotting a wedding party in the shopping centre on Saturday afternoon.

A photo, taken by reader Tom Horoszczak, shows the new bride standing out from the crowd in her white dress, surrounded by family and friends.

They were snapped near Subway, on the ground floor, opposite Debenhams and Claire's Accessories.

Snapper Tom said the wedding party arrived at Spindles Town Square at around 2pm and were bunched together for what looked like photographs.

A spokesman for the shopping centre said the couple did not get married there, but had attempted to take their wedding photographs inside. They were asked to leave as they had not asked for permission to take photographs.
