Showtime raises £815 for hospice

PUTTING on a show . . . Jayne Barnes School of Dance
TALENTED dancers jived their way to fundraising success with a special performance in aid of Dr Kershaw's Hospice.
Jayne Barnes School of Dance presented "Chance to Dance - Showtime" and performed routines from a variety of films and musicals at Middleton Technology College on Sunday.
The young dancers, aged from two to 18, took to the stage with showstopping performances, the event raising £815 for the Royton hospice.
Rachel Barnes, of the Oldham dance school, said: "We had an audience of about 80 people and the show went really well.
"We'd like to thank all the dancers, organisers and technical helpers.

"They put on a fabulous show and thanks to the parents for selling tickets and providing refreshments.
"Dr Kershaw's is such a special place and they need all the help we can give them."
