LEES Post Office
LEES POST Office has reopened its doors after a temporary closure.
Residents and businesses near the busy premises on the village high street were puzzled when a notice appeared in the front window earlier this month and the door remained locked.
The note informed customers that "Due to unforeseen circumstances this branch is closed until further notice". But now the Post Office is operational once again after a temporary postmaster came in on January 19.
A Post Office spokesman confirmed: "We apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused by the recent temporary closure, this was due to an operational issue. "We are pleased to confirm the branch is operating as normal."
