POLICE had a busy evening as they dealt with several road accidents within a couple of hours between junction 19 and 21 of the M62 last night.
The first collision occurred at 5.45pm between junction 19 and junction 20 when a wagon collided with a car after moving into its lane.
Traffic slowed down but there was only only damage to the vehicles, so no ambulances were called.
Hours later at junction 21 police were called to reports of a minor collision between a Toyota Yaris and HGV at about 7.30pm. Again it was damage only and no ambulances were needed.
At 9pm, at the same junction, police were called to reports of a black Renault Clio which had gone into the central reservation.
Despite being within a couple of hours of each other, there were no injuries in any of the accidents.
