DEMOLITION work is continuing at a former Royton primary school.
Byron Street Infant School, which closed seven years ago, is being levelled after planning permission to demolish the site was granted last year.
The building, which first opened in 1907, suffered vandalism since the infant school moved into a new building after merging with High Barn Junior School to become Royton Hall Primary in 2008.
The work is expected to take eight weeks to complete, with the site put on the market for housing.
