Burglar struggles with homeowner

A HOMEOWNER was threatened during a robbery in Chadderton.
An intruder used a brick to smash their way through the ground floor of the Cambridge Street property on Tuesday just after 7.30pm.
Greater Manchester Police's Oldham Central team said: "Using a house brick they smashed a rear ground floor window to gain access. A struggle occurred and the offender threatened the occupant before making off."
The trespasser is described as Bengali, about 20-years-old, slim, clean shaven and wore a black jacket. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
