Now you see them, now you don't

SIGNS advising motorists to drive at 20mph on a dead end street in Oldham have now been removed by Oldham Council.
Earlier this month the Oldham Chronicle featured the signs at the entrance to the small unnamed road, off Hollins Road.
The road, which is barely over 20 metres long, provides access to two gated alleyways and vehicles would struggle to reach high speeds on the lane.
An Oldham Council spokesman confirmed that the signs had originally been erected when the road could be used as a "cut through" to other streets in the area with cars driving through the alleyways.
