OLDHAMERS enjoyed a welcome distraction behind the wheel as they parked up to watch the flicks at a drive-in event.
The Tesco Extra store in Huddersfield Road held the free American-style event on Sunday as a "thank you" to customers.
The supermarket showed recent DVD release Bridget Jones's Baby on a big screen in the car park with the sound playing through car speakers.
And staff handed out popcorn, drinks and even blankets to complete the cinema experience.
Store manager Andrew Brown said: "We wanted an opportunity to say thanks to our customers and thought that this was something exciting and a little bit different for everyone to enjoy."
