SADDLEWORTH and Lees District Executive will be looking into the viability for plans to improve the facilities of the skate park at Churchill Playing Fields.
As part of taking the plans forward, the Executive will discuss with young people who are enthusiastic about skating about the best ways in which to improve the skate park.
Councillor Graham Sheldon said: "I am pleased that the young people will be involved in this as I believe it needs to be improved.
"Although we have all the facilities for rugby and football I think for those looking to be on a skate board or a bike there is not."
At the district executive meeting the councillors also noted a petition requesting the extension of double yellow lines at King Street and St Anne's Square in Delph which was received on January 25 with four signatures.
