Bin blaze is extinguished

FIRE crews from Hollins extinguished a bin blaze on wasteland in Fitton Hill watched over by a group of up to 20 teenagers.
Officers were called to land to the rear of Southcroft Street, Fitton Hill, on Friday at 8.20pm and were met with the large group of youths.
A bin was ablaze and there was a mattress and branches nearby. Crews spent 40 minutes at the scene.
