Teenage cyclist struck by lorry

A TEENAGE boy is in a critical condition following a collision in Middleton.
At about 11.45am yesterday, a blue Volvo lorry was driving towards Manchester on Heywood Old Road when it was involved in a collision with a cyclist, at the junction of Langley Lane.
The cyclist - a 13-year-old boy - was taken to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital with serious head injuries.
The driver of the lorry - a man in his 30s - stopped at the scene and spoke with police.
