TALENTED young dancers showed off their fancy footwork at the borough's schools dance competition.
A variety of styles - from contemporary and ballet to street and cheerleading - took centre stage at the third annual Oldham Gotta Dance.
Teams of pupils from 22 primaries and secondaries took part in the event which was organised by Oldham Sports Development.
It took place at Oldham Academy North with pupils from St Mary's CE in Greenfield winning the primary school event with their pirate-themed routine. They will now be given the opportunity to take part in national competition The Great Big Dance Off. The Syrian Children routine by pupils from St Patrick's RC Primary in Oldham was second and Lyndhurst Primary, Hollins, which performed Lost Boys, came third. Radclyffe School, Chadderton, won the secondary school competition.
Dance development officer Hannah Worley said: "The standard was phenomenal."
