Biker hurt in collision

A BIKER was injured after a crash involving a van on Broadway yesterday.
Paramedics and police were called to Chadderton, between Hunt Lane and Derwent Drive, just before 5pm after a Suzuki motorbike collided with a Vauxhall Astra van.
The biker's injuries did not appear to be life threatening. He remained conscious at the scene and was taken to hospital.
Motorists faced some delays as the road was closed for a short while.
