A CAR was set on fire in Oldham after what firefighters believe to have been criminal activity.
The Oldham crew were called to Abbey Hills Road at midnight last night.
The registration plates had been removed from the black Mercedes and the front of the car was smashed.
Watch manager Phil Courtnell said: "The car had been totally burnt out."
