A RESCUE effort was carried out after a man got stuck near an Oldham quarry.
Oldham Mountain Rescue Team (OMRT) were called to help the ambulance service reach the man.
The man was taken to hospital after a 90-minute rescue mission last Tuesday involving 18 team members.
OMRT Tweeted: "The team were requested by NWAS to assist with the location, treatment and evacuation of a man on some steep ground near a quarry in the Oldham area.
"After a brief search by search dog Bob, the man was located, assessed by a team casualty carer and taken to a waiting ambulance."
