Man in M60 bridge drama

THE M60 was shut for three hours this morning while police talked down a man who was on the wrong side of a bridge near to Hollins Road, Hollinwood.
Officers attended at 3.10am and negotiated with the man who eventually returned to the right side of the bridge.
A 52-year-old was detained under the Mental Health Act and the motorway was reopened at around 6am.
