Teen girl sexually assaulted in attack

A 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted during an attack on a group of youths in a park.
Police were called to reports of a group of teenagers who were assaulted on Wellyhole Street, Oldham, at around 6.25pm last Wednesday.
A 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted during the incident and is now being supported by specially trained officers.
Three boys aged 14, two aged 13 and a 13-year-old girl received minor injuries during the attack.
A police investigation is ongoing.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called at 6.25pm on Wednesday 3 May 2017 to reports that a group of teenagers had been assaulted on a park on Wellyhole Street, Oldham.
"Officers have launched an investigation and established three boys aged 14, two aged 13 and a 13-year-old girl received minor injuries.
"There are extra patrols in the area and officers are working with the local authorities to establish the full circumstances of the incident," said the spokesman.
