Law firm target of suspected arson

A LAW firm was targeted in a suspected arson attack late last night in the Coppice area.

Burning material was thrown over a rear yard wall and against the back door of the SI Law office on Chelmsford Street, firefighters said.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at 11.45pm after a neighbour saw and smelt smoke from the blaze.

A Hollins Fire Station spokesman said: "We managed to get to the fire before it caused serious damage inside the building.

"It damaged the back door and the rear yard."
