GEARING up . . . the new Audi showroom being constructed on Chadderton Way
THE new £8 million Audi dealership in Westwood is nearing completion.
The 17-car showroom and 28-bay workshop, on Chadderton Way, is being built on the site of the former Westhulme Hospital and will be run by Jardine Motors Group, one of the largest dealers of the German-marque in the UK.
The dealership, which is due to open this summer, is expected to create over 80 jobs.
Oldham Council officers worked with counterparts in the NHS trust, which owned the site, to make a deal.
