DOZENS of firefighters tackled a huge moorland blaze near Stalybridge.
Several crews - including two specialist wildfire units - were called to Walkerwood Reservoir in Millbrook shortly before 7pm yesterday.
Smoke could be seen for miles and local residents were warned to keep their windows and doors closed.
Brushes Road was closed and people were asked not to drive there so fire engines could reach the scene.
