Officer injured after car stop

A POLICE officer was injured after an Audi he tried to pull over crashed into his patrol vehicle.
The incident happened in Fitton Hill at around 7.30pm on Sunday evening after the officer tried to stop an Audi A6 on Wildbrook Crescent.
The officer was inside his car at the time and his injuries are not believed to be serious, a GMP spokesperson said.
The car was eventually found abandoned nearby.
No arrests have yet been made.
