Burglary suspect released

AN Oldhamer was burgled overnight as an intruder broke in through the roof of their home.
The offender removed roof tiles from the top of the property in St Hilda's Drive, in Oldham town centre, to gain access.
Police were called about the incident shortly after midnight on Sunday.
Disturbed
GMP Oldham Central said: "An offender entered by removing roof tiles.
"They were disturbed by the owner and made off.
"The burglary took place between 11.45pm on Sunday and 5am on Monday."
A 50-year-old man was held on suspicion of burglary and theft and after enquiries has been released with no further action.
