A NEW cycling hub at an Oldham tram station has been trashed several times.
The Hollinwood Cycle Hub at Hollinwood Metrolink station, yet to be used, has already been vandalised a number of times between May 7-16.
Most of the glass panels of the hub have been smashed and Transport for Greater Manchester is working with the contractor and GMP to review the hub's design to reduce the chances of any future vandalism.
Due to the scale of the damage, it is likely the panels will be replaced towards the end of June.
A TfGM spokesperson said: "This type of anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and TfGM will do everything possible to hold the individuals accountable for their actions.
"TfGM is working closely with GMP to identify those responsible for the damage caused so that any offenders identified will be prosecuted."
