New pitch laid at Avro FC , the former Oldham Rugby League ground, Whitebank Stadium, now the Vestacare Stadium.
THE new Vestacare Stadium is taking shape with the laying of the all-weather 3G pitch.
The ground, formally the Whitebank Stadium, was renamed after main tenants Avro FC got the backing of sponsors Vestacare.
Return
It is expected to benefit the community and the development, which saw the upgrade of the former pitch to the all-weather surface, will also see a new training pitch added and the club house spruced up.
It could also see the return of Oldham Rugby League Club who have been playing home games this season at Bower Fold, Stalybridge.
