A DRIVER fled from the scene after their car ended up on its roof in Glodwick last night.
Police were called to reports of a car having "crashed into the back of a house" but by the time they arrived the driver was nowhere to be seen.
Services found the wrecked red Nissan Micra upside down in Fenton Street at around 8.45pm on June 4.
A resident said via Facebook: "The car was smashed and turned over. It was very dangerous as the car was leaking and inches away from residential houses."
GMP said: "No injuries were reported, however the driver made off from the scene. No arrests have been made at this time."
The car was towed away and the incident was cleared by 10.30pm.
