A MAN was taken to hospital after a three-car smash last night. Police were called to the crash, which occurred on Rochdale Road, outside of The Royal Oldham Hospital, at around 7.55pm.
The collision involved a red Peugeot 207, a black Honda Jazz and a red Toyota Auris.
Oldham fire crews attended the scene and extracted a man from the Honda Jazz using hydraulic cutters. He was then taken to Royal Oldham in an ambulance but it appears that there are no serious injuries to anyone involved in the collision.
A Oldham Fire Station spokesman said: "It involved three cars at the junction of Rochdale Road, near to the hospital.
"One adult male had to be extracted from the Honda Jazz using hydraulic cutters and he was taken to the hospital by ambulance."
