ADORABLE babies started their lifetime love of books during National Bookstart week in Oldham.
The week, by the UK's largest children's reading charity BookTrust, aims to inspire children and families to read together.
As part of the event, babies and families enjoyed a free relaxed sensory session at Oldham Library.
Youngsters also had the chance to enjoy themed stories, songs and craft activities at Alexandra Park last week.
Maggie Kufeldt, executive director of health and wellbeing said: "National Bookstart Week is a great way to introduce children and their families to reading and the library."
All children attending the events will receive a free copy of Every Bunny Dance by Ellie Sandal from BookTrust.
