Roads closing for race

Milltown Oldham 10k. The start.
RUNNERS will descend on Oldham this weekend as the Milltown to Moors 10K race returns.
Covering just over six miles, the Oldham 10k will see runners take to the streets of Oldham, Heyside and Shaw on Sunday morning.
Starting at High Street in Oldham Town Centre at 9.30am, competitors will race along Egerton Street, Higginshaw Lane, Oldham Road, Shaw Road, Salmon Fields and back along Higginshaw Lane to the town centre finish line and a warm welcome from cheering supporters.
The flat route will involve full road closures during the race and motorists are being advised to be aware on the day.
There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Male/Female and 1st Male/Female team with all competitors walking away with a medal.
