Accountancy firm opens new branch

OPEN for business . . . Staff including partners Fiona Heyes and Yvonne Cookson at the new Ashton office of Your Tax Shop

IT'S all adding up for accountancy firm Your Tax Shop.

The firm, which was formerly Mossley Tax Shop, recently welcomed another addition to the family by opening a branch in Old Street, Ashton.

At an official opening on Friday, staff welcomed clients and businesses to a Champagne reception to celebrate the expansion.

The company has take on two new staff and plans to add more later in the year. Its other office is located in Lees Road, Mossley.

At the opening, a raffle was held in support of Ashton-based Willow Wood Hospice.

Senior partner Yvonne Cookson said: "It was a great event. These are exciting times for us. We just out-grew our Mossley office, but we didn't want to lose that prime location, so we decided to open another in Ashton.

"Our Ashton office is geared towards financial services as well as accountancy. It's also open on Saturdays, which is unheard of in the accountancy world, from 10am to 2pm, and that's working really well."
