'Machete man' held

A 52-YEAR-OLD has been arrested after a man was seen with a machete in Shaw on Monday evening.
Police were called to Market Street, close to The Blue Bell pub, at around 7.50pm after reports of a man holding a large knife or machete.
GMP confirmed that a 52-year-old male was arrested and is in custody.
