Money stolen in restaurant raid

A WOMAN was held at knife-point during a robbery in Chadderton last night.
The member of staff at Brewers Fayre Clayton Green in Westwood Retail Park was "threatened with a large knife".
A man made off with a "significant" amount of money after the incident but police said there were no injuries.
Nearby residents said they saw a police presence at the scene in Chadderton Way at around 11pm.
GMP said in a statement: "We were called just after 9.25pm last night to reports that a man had entered the restaurant through a back door.
"He had threatened a member of staff with a large knife and taken quite a significant quantity of cash before then leaving."
Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 2159 of July 11.
