RETURNING on Saturday . . . Oldham Flower Festival
OLDHAM will be in full bloom this weekend as the annual Flower Festival returns to the town centre.
Parliament Square will host the event, from 11am-4pm on Saturday, with a wide range of fun activities on offer for all the family.
There will be live demonstrations from TV gardener Katie Rushworth, alongside planting and craft activities. Gallery Oldham will also be taking part in the fun at their annual Bee Day. Honey tasting sessions, a bee dance performance from Oldham Theatre Workshop and a chance to meet bee-keeping experts will ensure the gallery is a hive of activity.
The Small Cinema will also be showing "Bee Movie" from 2pm at Oldham Library's Performance Space. Admission is £3.50 and children get a free goody bag with a drink, popcorn and treats.
