DETECTIVES investigating the murder of Jonathan Herd in Oldham have made two further arrests.

The 44-year-old was found at a property on Lees New Road at 12.20pm on Sunday.

He had suffered multiple stab wounds and died at the scene.

It is believed the offenders entered the flat before inflicting the fatal wounds and fleeing.

The Chronicle reported yesterday how a murder investigation was launched and a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody.

Two further men - a 37-year-old and a 38-year-old - were yesterday arrested on suspicion of murder.
