Armed robber still at large

A GUNMAN is still at large after a terrifying robbery at a newsagents in Chadderton.
The man threatened a female worker at the One Stop shop on Butler Green in Chadderton on Wednesday night, pointing a handgun at her and forcing her to open the till, before making off with money.
He then ran off in an unknown direction. Luckily, the victim was not injured during the terrifying ordeal.
A One Stop spokesman said: "We were very shocked to hear of this incident and concerned for our colleagues. We are glad that no-one was hurt, and we will be offering support to colleagues and are assisting the police with their investigation."
A GMP spokesman said: "We were called at 10.40pm on Wednesday, August 9, to reports of an armed robbery. One male offender asked a member of staff to open the till before he took cash. He had a hand gun. No injuries were reported."
