CHILDREN used their imaginations to create all sorts of cardboard constructions as part of a family fun day in Shaw.
Visitors descended on Dunwood Park for the free Big Boxes, Big Imaginations event held by the Friends of Dunwood Park.
Whether it was a castle, an animal or a personalised camper van, participants came up with all sorts of fun designs during the afternoon session.
Cardboard box manufacturer Ribble Packaging, in Greengate Street, supplied all of the materials to build a car and caravan.
As well as enjoying the fun activities on Sunday afternoon, families made the most of the park setting which has just been awarded Green Flag status - a scheme which recognises and rewards well-managed parks and green spaces across the UK.
