Primrose homes to go

Homes will be coming down shortly at Primrose Bank after a contract was awarded to an Oldham demolition firm.
The £181,000 clearance is part of the Gateways to Oldham project to improve major council estates under the Government’s private finance initiative. The contract has gone to D and M Demolitions.
Gateways to Oldham is a £131 million project to transform the Crossley, Primrose Bank and Clarkwell estates in Chadderton, Oldham and Coldhurst respectively.
