Knott Mill decision deferred for full facts
Date published: 08 July 2008
THE buildings which will surround the new Tesco development at Frenches Wharf will remain a mystery for the time being.
Members deferred a decision on whether to remove a planning obligation on the superstore to build industrial units at the site.
They speculated that an application to remove the obligation to build industrial units at the Knoll Mill site had been lodged to allow for the possible construction of a health centre.
But they were assured that nothing had been decided, and recommended that the decision be deferred until they knew more about possible plans.
