A 32–year–old man from Oldham has been arrested in connection with the rape of a 14–year–old girl as she was walking her dog at a beauty spot.
The teenager was strolling through woodland near Newent Lake, in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, last Thursday when she was attacked. A man approached her by the car park before committing the serious sexual assault.
He was wearing a blue T–shirt, jeans and white trainers and during conversation indicated he was from Bangladesh.
The man was arrested on Friday. He has been bailed to return to Gloucester police station on August 31.
