Crompton House School trip to Iceland
CROMPTON House pupils gained some real-life experience before their exams with a geography trip to Iceland.
The Year 10 geography students gained invaluable geological and geographical knowledge in the wonderful surroundings of Reykjavik.
They were sponsored by local Fairtrade Cotton supplier DB Knoll and had Fairtrade cotton t-shirts as a souvenir. An application has been submitted to grant the school full Fairtrade status.
Head of geography, Paul Douglas, said: “Books and films are great in the classroom, but nothing beats actually visiting the countries.”
