ON your marks, get set, cook! Pupils at Hathershaw College of Technology and Sport battled it out in the race to prepare a tasty and healthy meal.

As part of design and technology week, students took part in a Ready, Steady Cook competition where they had to prepare a meal from a selection of sweet and savoury ingredients.

The final, which was organised by Scholarfest which provides the meal service at the school, saw two teams, the Red and the Green, race to make the best meal in 15 minutes.
