Exxon fuels mountain bid to save lives

Kelvin Storer, one of the new applicants to the team and who recently has been made an official trainee and issued with a pager and personal team kit, works for ExxonMobil, dealing with the aircraft fuel at Manchester Airport.
MOUNTAIN rescuers have been given a helping hand by a fuel giant.
Oldham Mountain Rescue Team has been given £500 by ExxonMobile to allow it to buy a set of pulse oximetres.
These will allow members to check the pulse rate and oxygen levels for casualties to enable them to better deliver the best treatment for injured climbers and walkers.
New recruit Kelvin Storer works for ExxonMobile and arranged the support with his employers.
