YOUNGSTERS taking part in this year’s summer reading challenge will have the chance to win tickets to watch Oldham Athletic’s home game against Scunthorpe.
Oldham Athletic has donated up to 600 family tickets — one adult and a child — to Oldham Libraries for their home game on October 28.
And the library that sees the most children completing the challenge will win a visit from a Latics player.
Team Read, this year’s summer reading challenge, is simple — children sign up to read six books borrowed from their local library. Participants are given a special pack and a set of incentives to collect as they read, with a certificate and medal for those who complete it.
If more than 600 children complete this year, then the 600 Latics winners will be pulled from a hat
