MOTORISTS helped in the arrest of a wanted man early this morning.
Drivers made a series of calls to the police after spotting a man lying on the hard shoulder of the M60 between Ashton and Oldham.
Officers attending the scene found an unconscious man lying face down on a grass verge with no apparent injuries.
However, the man was arrested once he regained consciousness as he was wanted for failing to appear in court.
