Drug, drink unit on the move?

OLDHAM’S Drug and Alcohol Service could move to a new building if it gets planning permission.
Paul Osbaldiston from The Highbarn Resource Centre on Highbarn Street, Royton, wants to change the use of the former West Indian Social Club, Horsedge Street, Oldham, to clinical and group advice rooms.
The plan is a joint scheme between Adult and Community Services, which runs the centre and the Pennine Care NHS Trust to relocate the Drug and Alcohol Service from its existing premises at 111 Union Street, Oldham, which are no longer suitable.
At this stage, the proposal is for a change of use only with further details in relations to building works being submitted at a later date.
