Have your say on transport

OLDHAMERS will get the chance to air their views on public transport when local transport bosses drop into Oldham next week.
Officers from both the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority (GMPTA) and the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (GMPTE) will be joined by train and bus operators serving the Oldham area on Monday (11).
The event, which takes place in the Spindles, is the fourth to be held in the area this year.
Councillor John Dillon, GMPTA spokesperson for Oldham borough, said: “Previous drop-ins have raised issues relating to overcrowding, late-running services, withdrawals, service information, access, facilities and security.
“Such feedback is invaluable as we work with transport operators to provide the best possible services for people in the borough”
