Young Sophie’s got talent

A YOUNG dancing star has also been hitting the top notes as a singing sensation, after winning a talent competition.
She may be only 10, but Sophie Little is already used to performing in front of a crowd, and boasts a string of modelling credits and dance competition successes.
Now the pupil at East Crompton St George’s School is making a bit more room in her trophy cabinet, after winning the Oldham’s Got Talent contest.
Sophie competed against 14 others in the contest, which was held at the Gallery Oldham as part of the Festival of Diversity.
Sophie, of Waverley Street, Derker, impressed the judges with her rendition of Bjork’s “Oh So Quiet” to take away a trophy and a goody bag bulging with fun summer reads.
