A YOUNGSTER had to be freed by firefighters after getting his hand stuck in a treadmill.
It took only a matter of minutes for the crew from Oldham to release the 10-year-old after he found he couldn’t budge at Yorkdale, Clarksfield, at 3.45pm on Tuesday.
He was given first aid by an ambulance crew and taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital as a precaution.
Crew manager Bill Biles said: “He got his hand caught between the treadmill and a bar. We managed to release the roll of the treadmill and his hand came out quite freely. He was fine and had full movement and no problems.”
