TUNING UP: Brassed Off cast

OOMPAH! “Brassed Off” has been cast off!

The Coliseum’s most popular show ever, “Brassed Off”, returns to open the new season on September 4 — and now has a full complement of woodwind and brass.

Cast members assembled this week to start rehearsals, bone up on their trombones, use their euphoniums and tune their tubas!

The show features Coliseum favourite Eric Potts (not pictured) as an ailing colliery brass band conductor, Stuart Wade (front) as his son and “Bolton Bullfrog” Bernard Wrigley (second right) in a rare stage acting performance.
