THE memories last year’s monsoon-hit Denshaw Flower Show were washed away at the weekend as scores of people viewed the 292 exhibits from 50 competitors.
Committee member Judith Burton said: “It was a successful show and there was a good atmosphere. But had the weather been sunnier we would have had an even bigger and better show.”
Show HQ was the Denshaw Village Hall and organisers are planning to make a donation from the event to Christ Church, Denshaw.
