Two local rugby league players are getting closer to a dream trip to Australia thanks to supporters at the Three Crowns pub at Scouthead.
Danny Adams and Danny Atherton play for Saddleworth Rangers and are going to Australia in October to represent the British police in World Cup events.
But they have to raise £2,000 each for the trip. And a contribution of £470 raised by a wine and tapas night at the pub is helping the funds along.
